This photograph makes me want to run into a wall or something.
TODAY I BOUGHT A MADELEINE PAN YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT THIS MEANS TO ME. Also, I just taught Nicolas how to say “Da Brat” in English.
Anyone who has listened to the garbage that comes out of my mouth over the past year knows that I think about Kevin Barnes often. You should know that the reason for that is probably my background in David Byrne studies.

Kelly just sent this to me via Facebook.
I went to the Cinemathèque tonight to see Histoires Extraordinaires for my daily exercise of affection for Malle and the Italian people. Histoires is three cinematic adaptations of Poe novellas, directed by Vadim, Malle, and Fellini. The opening sequence of the Fellini was so great that it exists on its own on YouTube, so I share it with you here. I got to see it twice tonight, because for whatever reason, the Cinemathèque decided to play the Fellini twice: once dubbed in French, once in the original Italian/English with French subtitles. Yes.
I ate an entire bag of these Madeleines today. This could be a sign of stress.
I’m only capable of photographing oldies. Also, I’m starting to think that all small European towns look the same, and all big European cities smell the same.
